Fixed Fees (inc. GST)

For most of the matters we take on, we will speak with you, work out what is required and fix a fee, so that you know what you’ll have to pay from the beginning.

When it comes to disputes and litigation, it is difficult to fix a fee and we will usually charge you on an hourly rate. In these cases, we provide you with an estimate based on our experience in similar matters.

Independent Legal Advice

Estate Planning

  • A Will that does not create Testamentary Trusts

    • Appoints up to two (2) Executors and two (2) Alternate Executors

    • Gives the whole of your Estate to your partner (or named Beneficiary), and, in the alternate, to your children or other alternate named Beneficiaries in equal shares;

    • Nominates a Guardian of any minor children;

    • Does not include specific gift provisions;

    • Includes standard Executor/Trustee powers.

  • A Will that does not create Testamentary Trusts

    • Appoints up to two (2) Executors and two (2) Alternate Executors

    • Gives the whole of your Estate to your partner (or named Beneficiary), and, in the alternate, to your children or other alternate named Beneficiaries in equal shares;

    • Does no include specific gift provisions;

    • Leaves beneficiaries’ bequests pursuant to a Discretionary Testamentary Trust

    • Provides for personal property to be distributed according to a list that is kept with the Will.

    • Provides for personal property to be distributed according to a list that is kept with the Will.

  • A basic Testamentary Trust Will can be customised to deal with:

    • The creation of multiple trusts

    • The giving of specific gifts

    • The passing of Powers of Appointment in existing Family Trusts in accordance with your Will

    • The scope of the discretion your Executor(s) will have to maximise the opportunity to implement tax minimisation strategies in connection with the administration of your Estate

    • Life Interests and Rights of Residence in real property

    • Superannuation Death Benefits and the proceeds of Life Insurance through separate Trusts

    • Capital Protected Trusts

    • Staggered release of inheritances to children or adult children

    • Special Disability Trusts
